******************************************************* Congratulations to…. Steve Jacobs Your 2010 Land of Mickey Club Member of the Year! Steve Jacobs has been an active member of The Land of Mickey chapter since its inception in April 1992. He is a founding member of the group and has served in many capacities over the years. Steve wrote the first The Land of Mickey newsletter for many years as well as serving as Co-President with his wife Debby for two terms. He is currently Vice President in charge of membership. Steve’s love of all things Disney comes from his passion for imagination and creativity that Walt developed so many years ago and still represents the company today. Among his collectible treasures are over 200 Disney license plates and an extensive Disney Railroad/Carolwood/transportation memorabilia as well as many Disney theme park items. His most valuable treasures, however, are the many friendships that have developed and grown over the years as being part of The Land of Mickey. Congratulations to Steve for being selected as our 2010 Chapter Member of the Year. ******************************************************* Your Land of Mickey Meeting Dates: Following

Recipe : Sweet Banana Bruschetta Special Events Catering, Disneyland Hotel Ingredients: ·
Chocolate curls (optional) · 1-1/2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder · 3 medium bananas, thinly sliced · 2 tablespoons brown sugar · 1 medium banana, mashed (1/2 cup) · 6 1/2- to 3/4-inch thick slices sweet Hawaiian bread, egg
bread, or raisin bread · 1/4 cup tub cream cheese with pineapple · Sifted powdered sugar (optional) · 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted Directions: 1. Toast bread and let cool 2. Combine mashed banana, cream cheese, and cocoa powder in a
medium bowl. Spread some of the mixture over each toasted bread slice.
Place slices on a cookie sheet. 3. Layer banana slices on top of cream cheese mixture. Brush
bananas with melted butter or margarine. Sprinkle with brown sugar. 4. Broil bruschetta 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 30 to 60
seconds or until banana slices just begin to glaze. 5. To serve, sprinkle tops with sifted powdered sugar and garnish
with chocolate curls, if desired. Serve immediately. Makes 6
